Teignmouth is a small resort town situated at the mouth of the River Teign in South Devon. Its origins are part Georgian and part Victorian which gives it a rather genteel air which is what attracts the tourists in the summer months. That and the general laidback ambience and outstanding coastal views. Shaldon lies just across the River Teign and is a very desirable area to live.
